These forceps could be regarded as a tool that no fly fisher should be without, they are particularly usefull when unhooking fish. These are the standard stainless steel forceps fitted with the normal ratchet locking system and are available from us in five sizes which are five inch, six inch, eight inch, ten inch and twelve inch. Theres a size for every type of angling, and the Pike fishers and Sea anglers prefer the longer ones obviously.
The trout fisher can also benefit from use as a debarbing tool when necessary although the longer handles do not accommodate that facility. There is a multi tool in our other listings that is better when debarbing is necessary. We also have in stock the soft touch forceps in a few sizes. These are the same stainless steel forceps but with a plastic sleeve on the handles which is beneficial in colder weather.
