Astute Angling have three different types of spool retainer bands to offer the discerning angler, who prefers to have the contents of the tackle bag looking professional. These bands can also be used to secure rods but are primarily produced to keep fly lines on reels a bit tidier. 
Stillwater spool bands are universal fit made from a neoprene material with a rubber stopper to secure to any size of spool. The white logo is printed on the front making it look a professional fly fishing item. Supplied in a packet of two.
Snowbee bands are similar material and have a bit more stretch on them. They are made to fit universally by the use of velcro. The Snowbee logo is clearly seen on the band along with a white waterproof label to enable you to keep track of your lines. The label accepts normal pen ink. These are supplied in pairs.
The Wychwood brand spool reels are rated for trout and salmon reels. Made from a neoprene material with velcro to secure once adjusted. These are well thought out and incorporate a clever clear window with a supplied piece of card to fit. The card can be marked with the relevant line size etc and replaced when necessary. The card is long enough to be used at least twice.
