Silverbrook Fly Fishing Rod

The Silverbrook Excel fly rods have a dynamic fast action and will allow the angler to easily control the line and present flies delicately while targeting Trout or Grayling. The smallest rod comes as a 9ft #5 line rated suitable as a brook or small river rod, whilst the larger 9ft 6" and 10ft #7 rods will handle most fish fish you will encounter when fishing in the larger lakes and lochs.  Constructed using T24 Carbon Fibre these fly rods are fitted with stainless steel snake guides and hook keeper ring. They represent excellent value for money as entry-level fly rods for novices and indeed semi experienced anglers . Their four piece construction means that they are easily transported and although not supplied in a tube they do come in a cloth bag. Tubes are available separately in our other listings as is the Siverbrook Excel Combo which is the same rod but is supplied as a balanced unit with reel, line in a strong transportation tube.
