Stonfo 548 Knot and Hook Puller
The Italian company Stonfo has supplied this basic knot puller. For the less than the price of a pint in a city pub you can now purchase this tool which helps to avoid sticking a hook point in your finger, thumb or any other part of your hand. The large rubber ring accommodates the use of the tool for even the largest handed angler. The tag hole is attached to the rubber handle and is there to accept a lanyard or zinger. The metal hook is then ready to to fit onto the hook bend to tighten up the knot.
Not an essential part of equipment for the fly fisher but it may come in handy when fishing snakes or large lures and heavier leader tippet. Definately a must for the sea angler.
